Quick check in from Thousand Oaks where the race team, master’s riders, and our awesome sponsors finally came together to properly kickoff the 2018 season in the sunshine. Much thanks to team management (Steve and Brian) and the Velofix, our morning rollout was as smooth as they come.
The group naturally split up over the course of ~76km and 1500m of climbing, but everyone was consistently in great company and surrounded by epic views. The most notable feature of the circuit, a climb up Fernwood, proved to be challenging, however, the route was a truly great introduction to what the area has to offer and what we have in store for the rest of the week. We cannot wait to get back out there tomorrow!
