Valley of the Sun Stage Race

The Valley of the Sun stage race in Phoenix Arizona was our first race of the year as a team together. For me, it was my first test of the year to see how the legs were going into the season. After a long winter mixed with lots of schoolwork in university, as well as quite a bit of time spent on the indoor velodrome, I was excited to get back on the road and do such a cool stage race in such a cool place.

That's just how bike racing goes sometimes

The Provincial time trail was a 40km course out in Fort Langley area, I’ve been on the podium several times at TT Provincials so I was looking to do well. It was an absolutely miserable day out there, so much rain made for a slippery course.

Jeremy's Roubaix

Jeremy's Roubaix is quite the contrast to the normal races that we attend for the year. It takes place on the on-and-off the gravel dyke paths in Maple Ridge BC. Our race was 100km, about 50km of that was on the gravel sections.

Chain mishap at Volunteer Park

A little bit of a light squad for this race, due to other commitments the only riders that could attend were Chris and myself. With a solid week of training in the legs Chris and I were stoked to get a solid race in. The course was up and down with no real corners just curves around Volunteer park in Seattle.

A great day for TRT at Provincials

The Elite Provincial TT was a definite focus for me. I spend a lot of time on the TT bike and I love going fast and the TT dynamic itself is something I really enjoy about bike racing. The fact that you get to decide how your race will go, it’s you against the clock and nothing else.

2016 Tour De Beauce UCI 2.2 with the Canadian National Team

First of all I can't begin to express how grateful I was to race for the Canadian National Team for the Tour De Beauce UCI 2.2.  Thanks to Trek Red Truck p / b Mosaic Homes for all their support and getting me to where I am today. The Tour De Beauce is one of the hardest pro stage races in North America, six hard stages in five days in the hilly, bumpy, and unforgiving roads of the Beauce region of Quebec.

Crushing Tour de Bloom

A full Squad of Trek Red Truck guys was set to crush the 2016 Tour De Bloom featuring Brendan, Christian, Craig, Dylan, Geordie, Ty, Mike, and myself. Leavenworth Road Race. 100 km’s of breakaway is a good way to describe this stage.  In the first 10 km or so Michael, Dylan, and myself got into a large breakaway of 10 riders.
