The Red Truck racing team is dedicated to not only having a competitive cycling ream, but committed to developing young riders who are also pursuing post-secondary education. We will remain successful by providing our riders with an environment that promotes teamwork, a hard work ethic on and off the bike, and a strong sense of sportsmanship.

There are two ways in which you can help support the Red Truck Racing Team: contribute to our young riders' scholarship fund or to the overall support of the team through the operating fund. 

1. team scholarship

Red Truck is launching an exciting opportunity for existing team members and philanthropists to participate in the development of the futures of our Elite Racing Team (young riders). Based on feed-back from within the cycling community and from within our existing Partnership, we are pleased to announce and present the Red Truck Educational Scholarship.

the Program

The purpose of the scholarship program is to acknowledge outstanding performance through:

• Educational Performance - based on grades and records from the previous year

• Athletic Performance

• Commitment, Attitude, Work Ethic, Dedication, Goals

A committee will identify recipients of the scholarship annually upon the conclusion of a racing season. To be eligible for the award candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Must have completed one year as a member of Red Truck Racing Team

• Must be enrolled and attending an educational institution; U17 full-time attendance of secondary school, graduates of secondary must be in attendance of a Post Secondary Institution; college, university.

Donations of any denomination are greatly appreciated, and donors will receive a tax receipt for contributions to the Scholarship fund. Please note that parents and guardians of eligible athletes are not permitted to make donations. For more information from the riders themselves, please see our scholarship brochure.

2. operating fund

Maintaining a top-notch cycling team takes a lot of organization and effort and relies heavily on volunteers. But there's always that extra need for things our dedicated volunteers and sponsors can't provide. Things such as race entry fees, equipment and travel expenses associated with racing.

This is your opportunity to help support the Red Truck Racing team by contributing to the operating fund to help keep those wheels turning! Please note that parents and guardians are permitted to make donations to this fund.
